The Season of Giving

This holiday season, our 149th as an organization, we proudly continue our cherished holiday card tradition, which in years past has provided important funding for our many programs through the Memphis Medical Foundation

In 2025, we are honored to dedicate our holiday card proceeds to a special partnership with Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital—helping to create a safer, more comforting, and streamlined exam room for young victims of sexual violence and assault. This space will serve as a haven for children receiving compassionate, trauma-informed care during their most vulnerable moments. The sexual assault nurse examiner’s room (SANE room) is an extraordinary project spearheaded by member physicians of the Memphis Medical Society.

As a thank you for your 100% tax-deductible donation to the Foundation before December 10, 2025 your name will be listed on our holiday card, which is mailed to all members of the Memphis Medical Society and healthcare leaders throughout West Tennessee. Although we request a minimum gift of $175 for inclusion on the card, all donors will be listed alphabetically.

Give Today.

All funds raised through this year’s holiday card giving will be matched by the Memphis Medical Foundation and given to support the creation of the SANE room at Le Bonheur.

Other donations to the Foundation made during our 150th anniversary in 2026 will support our continued growth across all pillars of the Memphis Medical Society and Foundation—education, wellness, and access to care. Your continued support of the Foundation will help us clear the high bar we set with our success in 2025.

We continued to invest in the next generation of healthcare leaders by offering resources and programs for medical students and residents. The ongoing third cohort of the Mid-South Healthcare Leadership Institute remains a shining example of our commitment to developing the leadership and vision of our region’s healthcare workforce.

Our Thrive Physician Wellness program continues to be a lifeline for our colleagues, providing a confidential hotline and psychologist access for those facing burnout, stress, or personal challenges. If you or someone you know could benefit, we encourage you to click here to learn more

Through the Foundation’s support, Project Access West Tennessee once again expanded specialty care access for uninsured patients across our region—making a tangible difference in the lives of those who need it most.

Thank you for your continued generosity and for standing with us in our mission to strengthen the health of our community—now and for generations to come.
