MEMPAC, the Political Action Committee component of Memphis Medical Society, exists to advance the legislative interests of the members of The Memphis Medical Society. It is a non-partisan PAC. Its Board of Directors is composed of members of the Memphis Medical Society.
MEMPAC works very closely with the MMS Legislative Committee, TMA Legislative Committee and TMA PAC to determine what issues are most important to our membership and which candidates we should support in order to advance our issues. We currently only support Shelby County elected officials, with rare exceptions made for physician candidates in other parts of the state.
Memphis Medical Society appreciates the support from Germantown Area Chamber of Commerce for its support of this website and our continued efforts of economic development in Shelby County healthcare.
