National Physician Suicide Awareness Day (#NPSADay) is coming up on September 17th. Let’s combat the rising rates of physician burnout and suicide by promoting open dialogue, understanding the root causes, and offering support to those in need. Together, we can create a healthier and more supportive environment for our healthcare professionals.
In response to rising concerns about physician burnout, the Memphis Medical Society and the Memphis Medical Foundation have created THRIVE. This program provides confidential appointments with psychologists in-person or via telehealth to help local physicians address stress and prevent burnout. THRIVE is open to all physicians in Memphis and Shelby County.
