Another veteran of our team has made moves, taking a role vital for our complex organization.
This summer, Cailyn D. Bautista Lillard shifted from leading MedTemps to leading fundraising through our philanthropic branch, Memphis Medical Foundation (MMF). She’s now working with donors and sponsors to fuel our work as Senior Director of Development.
“It’s been a privilege to lead MedTemps for the past eight years alongside a dedicated administrative team and our amazing associates. In my new role as Senior Director of Development, I look forward to advancing the mission of MMF and our physician members by building on our strong foundation and amplifying the impact of our work across the healthcare community,” said Cailyn.
I believe in Memphis as a center of healthcare excellence, and I’m thrilled to establish new connections and foster existing partnerships that reflect the strength and potential of our organization,” she said.
The Memphis Medical Foundation is structured to support three vital pillars of the work we do, raising funds from donors like you and corporate sponsors who believe in our mission. While MMS focuses on advocacy for physicians and their patients through membership, MMF concentrates on physician well being, public health, and leadership development through empowering the next generation of physicians.
Our Thrive initiative offers MMS members a lifeline to counter the burnout that as many as 63% of physicians report to have felt. With a call to the confidential hotline (901-286-3110), we connect you to a licensed psychologist at no cost, with the Foundation covering expenses of up to six sessions.
In the public health space, Project Access West Tennessee works to address healthcare disparities by providing donated specialty care to those without insurance.
And through a calendar of events and partnerships, the Foundation supports students, residents, and practice administrators, offering information about the connection between healthcare and government, leadership skills, and fiscal advice that isn’t taught in medical school.
When donating to MMF you can direct gifts generally, or contribute directly to Project Access West Tennessee and its patients, Physician Wellness Initiatives, or Education.
Gifts can be made securely online through our website, or checks can be made payable to Memphis Medical Foundation and mailed to:
