Memphis Medical Society subsidiary MedTemps, the trusted source for medical staffing in the Mid-South for more than 40 years, has gone east.
MMS CEO Clint Cummins and MedTemps Director of Operations Michael King have spent time building a network among the clinic and hospital administrators of Chattanooga and Hamilton County. MMS and MedTemps have worked closely with the Chattanooga-Hamilton County Medical Society staff during the transition and through their combined efforts, MedTemps is already serving a host of clients, connecting them to a growing roster of candidates.
“Expanding into a whole new medical community is great for MedTemps and for the Society,” said Michael. “MedTemps has a proven track record, and I’m glad to see how able we were to take the model to a new city and have immediate success. We are already making an impact there placing top-level talent in important roles at organizations serving patients in the opposite corner of the state.”
“When considering a new staffing relationship for our community, partnering with our sister Medical Society was the perfect solution,” said Rae Young Bond, CEO of the Chattanooga-Hamilton County Medical Society. “MedTemps allowed us to bring a proven staffing model to our members. We’re helping practices reduce costs, stabilize their teams, and reinvest resources back into patient care and their local medical community. Partnerships like this strengthen and support our physician community.”
“I couldn’t be more excited about what this partnership can do for MMS and CHCMS members. Staffing costs, and particularly outside agency costs, are a source of tremendous overhead for physician practices,” said Clint. “We want to improve that dynamic across the state with solutions that are more cost-effective and represent re-investment into our state’s medical community.”
