Join Our Team: Director of Finance

The Finance Director plays a critical role in partnering with the CEO and the Board of Directors to help to make strategic decisions to ensure the organization meets and exceeds its goals and objectives. The Finance Director reports all financial information in a timely manner and assists in helping making responsible decisions regarding the financial health of the MMS, MedTemps, MMF and MEMPAC (the entities).

Duties and Responsibilities

The Finance Director is responsible for and has commensurate authority to accomplish the duties as follows:

• Analyze and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicate monthly and annual financial statements

• Coordinate and lead the annual external review and audit process, liaise with external auditors and the finance committee of the board of directors; assess any changes necessary.

• Oversee and lead annual budgeting and planning process in conjunction with the CEO; administer and review all financial plans and budgets; monitor progress and changes and keep CEO and BOD abreast of the organization’s financial status.

• Manage organizational cash flow and foecasting.

• Ensures compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), as well as state and federal requirements.

• Daily tasks include accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll & payroll tax reporting for the MMS.

• Assists with payroll and accounting matters related to affiliated entities as needed.

• Maintains Human Resource files and handles general Human Resource issues. • Effectively communicate and present the critical financial matters to the boar of directors. • Maintains the accounting records for all 3rd party clients.


Qualifications Qualfications include:

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting required, Master’s in Accounting and/or Master’s in Business Administration preferred.

• Minimum 5 years working experience in public accounting or other accounting field related position.

• Experience working in a nonprofit organization preferred.


• Experience working with outside auditors.

• Ability to translate financial concepts to – and to effectively collaborate with – with others who do not necessarily have finance backgrounds. Working Conditions This is a full-time salaried position (32-40 hours/week) with work conducted in-office 9am – 3pm. Flexible working arrangements are available upon request and not guaranteed.
