UTHSC First-Year Medical Students Celebrated at the M1 Reception

The University of Tennessee Health Science Center’s first-year medical students celebrated the beginning of their medical education at the 2021 MMS M1 Reception.

The event, safely hosted at Dixon Gallery and Gardens, celebrated the students’ first week of medical school with food, fun, and the importance of joining organized medicine. With so many new student memberships flowing in, the message made an impact!

We want to say a special thank you to everyone who helped make the event possible: UTHSC staff, MMS Board Members and leaders, the team at the Dixon, and of course, the students! We also owe a big thank you to our sponsor, Triumph Bank.

The leadership and staff at the Memphis Medical Society wish a “great first year” to the new students!

The Memphis Medical Society and Tennessee Medical Association offer free memberships for medical students throughout their education. If you haven’t joined yet, students can join here!
