New website to locate substance abuse treatment options

A new website launched last week aimed at “helping the millions of Americans with substance abuse issues learn about and locate treatment options” nationwide. FindTreatment.gov is a directory of more than 13,000 licensed treatment providers.

The site was created to be user-friendly with specific search options available, as well as explanations for treatment options, educational resources, and more, according to the White House sources in charge of the drug crisis response.

The site is intended to be a valuable resource for “the tens of millions of Americans with a variety of substance abuse and mental health issues to better access the care they need.”

Visit findtreatment.gov to check it out.
