The holiday season is slowly descending upon Memphis! We see it in the stores, and we will soon see it on the streets and in our homes. In preparation, the Memphis Medical Foundation has opened donations for the 2019 Annual Holiday Sharing Card. Each year, the Foundation sends a holiday card, featuring donors names, to our membership and area healthcare leaders.
This year’s contributions will go directly to Physician Wellness. Some specialties see a burnout rate as high as 63%. The Medical Society and Foundation must act, and we are prepared to do so in 2020 with continued resources and increased programming with your help and contributions. Our program is called Thrive. We have already conducted events in the spirit of combating burnout and plan to add more resources this year, including a hotline for physicians to call when they need to talk with someone about their challenges. Memphis Medical Foundation will pay for up to six appointments for each member who is referred to treatment to seek confidential care.
Thus, we are asking you to make your tax-deductible donation to the Foundation.
Although we request a minimum gift of $175 for inclusion on the card, all donors will be listed alphabetically on the card, regardless of the size of your gift. As always, 100% of your donation is tax-deductible.
