Neelam Khan, MD
Dr. Neelam Khan specializes in medical, surgical, skin of color, and cosmetic dermatology. She grew up in Memphis and is a proud graduate of St. Mary’s Episcopal School. She attended Vanderbilt University on a merit-based Chancellors Scholarship with a major in Neuroscience. After obtaining a Masters of Science in Physiology from Georgetown University, she completed her Doctorate of Medicine at Georgetown University School of Medicine. During that time, she was selected as a dermatology research fellow at the prestigious University of Pennsylvania, where she studied autoimmune skin diseases. After completing a medicine internship at Georgetown University Washington Hospital Center, Dr. Khan pursued her dermatology residency training in New York City at the State University of New York (SUNY) Downstate. During residency, she was actively involved in the Dermatologic Society of Greater New York and served as her program’s cosmetics director. Dr. Khan is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, American Society for Laser Medicine, Memphis Dermatology Society, Skin of Color Society, and Women’s Dermatologic Society. She has published several research papers and is active in mentoring medical students interested in the field of dermatology.
