Joseph G. Baltz, Jr., MD
Dr. Baltz was born in Memphis and raised in Pocahontas, Arkansas. He received his undergraduate education at Duke University, where he graduated with distinction with a BS in biomedical engineering. He earned his medical degree and completed internal medicine residency training at the University of Virginia School of Medicine. Dr. Baltz completed his gastroenterology fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina, where he also received advanced training in Endoscopic Ultrasound, ablation of Barrett’s Esophagus, and Endoscopic Mucosal Resection. He is a member of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and American College of Gastroenterology.
