The Memphis Medical Society was asked by the Mid-South MGMA to collect and help disseminate the new NPI numbers all physicians and certain other healthcare providers are required to have on May 23, 2007.  We sent out a notice and have received over 1,750 numbers which we have input into our database.  The above link will provide your group with a downloadable Excel file.  Once you have downloaded this document, you may then sort the list alphabetically by the physician or practice name.  If your physician or group name is not on the list, then we have not – after calls, facsimiles and emails – received the NPI number for your practice.  If you wish to be included on this list, please have your administrator or credentialing specialist fax the NPI number(s) and your group’s NPI number to 901-761-2944.
